It's been a really busy week so I searched the archives desperately. I have posted this before but not for Photo Hunt. So here you see the small Canada Goose goslings, with their much larger parents who do not like this stranger photographing their babies.

I like the shot and it's funny because the parents do look like they are getting ready to charge on the photographer. I wouldn't put it past the Canadian Geese around here because they can get quite aggressive.
Great shot! Funny... animals are as protective of their little ones as most humans...
I know they can get very angry, lol ! but the babies are so sweet !

*BTW, I just went to compalin at Blogger-Help Groups about our seemingly shrinking headers. I read one answer there saying they have modified the header so we have to modify our header photos. :(

My supermarket is near a river and the ducks often walk right up to the front door. They are very fat and well fed.

How sweet! We don't have many (if any!) Canadian Geese around Pollywog Creek, but we did have a goose once that chased away our friends who came for a visit. We didn't keep him long! Thanks for stopping by Pollywog Creek earlier today. Hope your weekend is delightful.

Aren't the baby goslings adorable? I love to take Phinnaeus and Marigold down to Jericho Park to see the goslings and the baby ducks.

Supposed to be about the 30c fine and sunny here xmas day, my chocolate wont melt, it will all lovingly sit in the fridge until it is summoned. :)

The Babies are soooh cute and Mama and Papa Goose. I just can`t bring myself to eat Roast Goose but can eat any other Fowl or game bird, Maybe I was a Goose in a former life ! What say you Jmb ?
