Saturday Photo Hunt ---- Thirteen

THIRTEEN

It will be interesting to see what people make of this theme. I thought long and hard but the muse was elsewhere.

So here are

rocks from my collection

In this case the stripey ones in the centre were sent to me by
my blog friend Eurodog from her place in Cornwall,
others picked up by me from Mt Etna, Cannes,
Vulcano, Australia and northern BC.

The number is from my front door. No I don't live at Number 13, there are numbers on either side of these. But these are also unlucky according to the Chinese.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE

I'm with you on being curious what people will come up with. Nice twist on your door numbers. I have rocks now that I have no idea where they came from. I should have tagged them somehow. Enjoy your weekend...

Gret choices jmb. I'm not a rock collector myself but some are so beautiful. Have a great weekend. I hope you are on the mend

I like the numbers on your front door. They are very interesting. My house numbers are very boring in comparison. I love rocks so enjoy the 13 from your collection. I hope you have a pleasant weekend and that your vision gets better each day.

A unique idea JMB. I love rock collecting - there are so many unusual colors and shapes. Hope you are mending quickly. Take care.

I like the stripey ones! This was hard since it was so wide open -- you'd think that'd make it easier. There should be a lot of variety in the entries for this topic -- it will be fun to see what everyone came up with.

I love the center rocks, they look like you've drizzled white icing on them :)

Hi jmb --

I too am curious as to what people come up with. So far, it's been quite interesting indeed to see how mind works, not just the pictures that have been submitted! :)

I think lots of people will be creating their thirteen this week. It was a challenging theme. I had to walk blocks to get mine.

Those are lovely rocks JMB, I like the one on the right at the top.

How are your eyes now? You're brave to cope with this.

What an interesting collection. I never would have thought to bring rocks home from places I had visited. Of all the things I thought to include in my 13 post, for some reason the obvious - the actual number - never crossed my mind. Thanks for stopping by the creek to comment on my 13 - and for the gold star! =) Have a great weekend!

I think the theme this week was too easy so that we didn't see it. There are so many n° 13 around now that I know, lol ! I didn't count the rocks ! I believe you !

You have created such a lovely still life here! I enjoyed it very much.

I like the stripey rocks. I should start collecting rocks from every country I visit too.
13 to some Chinese is a lucky number and they are willing to pay good money for it when it comes to houses and car numbers!

I recognise the volcanic rock, but not from Mount Etna. I picked up mine from the Blue Lagoon in Iceland.
