Why do we say: it was a perfect day, not a single cloud in the sky? Well it was a perfect day on this recent visit to Green Lake, Whistler, BC, and there was a single cloud in the sky. I thought it was and the fly fishermen, standing waist deep in the water thought so too. Catch and release so no fish for dinner.

Oh that looks like fun!!! And... How do I find those clouds? A lot of patience and many years of waiting! The pier? I took it from Ambleside Beach - is the first pier Dundarave? Isn't that down at the end where the restaurant is?

I've never understood the "not a single cloud" thing - clouds set off the picture perfectly. Tell the truth - you arranged that cloud specially!

Lovely shot with just one cloud. I agree with you on the difference between hills and mountains. Most of the Irish and Scottish ones are hills. You have some mountains.
