Saturday Photo Hunt --- Colourful

COLOURFUL

Sorry tnchick, but I cannot spell the word without a U. So much to choose from this week but I have gone with something man-made, a beautiful art quilt seen at the Vancouver Museum during a show of the work of BC Craftspeople. How colourful is this?

But then colour is all around us and Nature does colour better than anything.

A garish corner of my garden in Springtime, where Vancouver shines with the greatest displays of rhododendrons and azaleas in the world. Mmm. Notice the preponderance of red in this post, wonder what my favourite colour is?

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND EVERYONE

Those are both great choices. I absolutely love the quilt. I had to laugh about your comment about calling it Thursday photohunters. I never know when to post. I usually get it ready whenever I think about it and then sometime Friday post it but it is getting earlier and earlier. Maybe I'll start getting later and later. I hope you have a great weekend.

That quilt is incredible! What colour! And so much time and work involved, too.

Oh, by the way, your bright garden is beautiful.

Lovely. We used to have rhododendrons where I grew up. Not so many here in Adelaide. They were really a sign of spring in wet and miserable Scotland. I love that quilt and yeah for British spelling.

I missed the Association of Pacific Northwest Quilters show in Seattle last week. There are a lot of wonderful BC quilters in that group.

My PhotoHunt will appear, like magic, around midnight.

O wow is that patchwork up top? Wow: gimme some of that... how amazing!!!

Yes I agree those flowers are incredibly garish. That's probably humankind's meddling with the works of God that produces floral garnish-mc-tarnish like that!!!

wow, man: you don't half get a lotta comments, don't you!!!
