Last summer we had a family of raccoons who passed through our garden every day, on their way from wherever to wherever. One day, as I sat at my kitchen table, with my camera at hand, I captured this photo.

We took photos of some racoons in our back yard many years ago, but they weren't yet a family, we just captured them in the process of making a family :)

Wonderful collection of photos for this week’s theme! What a beautiful bride! Sorry about the passing of Cleo but the avatar is a wonderful way to keep her with you. Methinks the raccoon family is cute, but (like the opossum I shared in my Camera Critters post at Small Reflections this morning) … I could certainly do without them wreaking havoc in my yard. The raccoons are too cute. Sorry for the ignorance but they don't bite, right?
BTW, your place must be something like a refuge to them, hence they stay there for a moment or so.
Admittedly I'm not always the brightest trick in the book, but the racoon wedding connection. I'm lost.
What a beautiful daughter, she takes after her mum. And we certainly don't have racoon families here in the UK.
