FAMILY
Mum and the five kits relaxing, probably after digging up my lawn for grubs
Another occasion, Mum, close up: Back off!
Who are you? Do we run and hide?
OK, enough with the raccoons, JMB's real family, taken twelve years ago, before
my daughter's wedding: father, mother, daughter, son
and the most important member, Cleo the Westie, sadly no longer
with us but memorialized in my avatar
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE
Last summer we had a family of raccoons who passed through our garden every day, on their way from wherever to wherever. One day, as I sat at my kitchen table, with my camera at hand, I captured this photo.

That's a great family photo, especially with the dog being so alert.
Two lovely families :) I love Westies :)
What a beautiful wedding photo. I love the raccoons. We get foxes and the odd hedgehog here. Happy weekend
JMB that is a wonderful wedding portrait. Beautiful shot. I also enjoyed the family of raccoons.
Awww. great family photo but I just LOVE seeing raccoons!! :)
Your raccoon family looks sweet - but I'm sure you could do without them!
As for your daughter's wedding, there couldn't be a lovelier picture. Thanks for sharing that.
Perfect shots!!! Great choice for today's theme... Have a fun weekend! Mine's up too... hope to see you at my corner!!!
Love those raccoons JMB - How neat to get a photo of the kits as well. A beautiful wedding photo of a rather handsome family including Miss Cleo :)
Cleo looks so regal sitting in front of that beautiful dress. And I love racoons! Nice set of photos.
Lovely families both. Happy weekend.
For a minute I thought there was going to be a raccoon in the Wedding picture. Those raccoons are cute.
Oh jmb! what a gorgeous family portrait! Everyone looks so happy and your daughter is a beautiful bride. Your son looks a lot like his Dad only taller...lol Mine won't be up for a while but come on over later.
Great pictures. Re the raccoons: my, you managed to get up close!!!
Those raccoons are so cute. I've never seen a real one before.
You have a beautiful family. It's so adorable how Cleo joined that precious shot. I'm sorry that Cleo is no longer with you.

What fun pictures of the raccoons!
Love your family picture, wonderful memories! I always wondered about your avatar, now I know he was Cleo, what a sweetie!
Happy hunting and happy weekend !
We took photos of some racoons in our back yard many years ago, but they weren't yet a family, we just captured them in the process of making a family :)
happy weekend!
Great pictures of two families.
These are great for the theme. Glad you included both "families" because both are so interesting. Happy Hunting.
What great photos of the racoons. And I love your family portrait. You look stunning! (And so does the bride of course!) And Cleo - how lovely to include her in the shot too.
jmb
Now I think you're having us on. The first three photos are you and your kids. The last one - probably own the garden you play in!
I love your family portrait :-)
Hope you have a good weekend too.
Wonderful collection of photos for this week’s theme! What a beautiful bride! Sorry about the passing of Cleo but the avatar is a wonderful way to keep her with you. Methinks the raccoon family is cute, but (like the opossum I shared in my Camera Critters post at Small Reflections this morning) … I could certainly do without them wreaking havoc in my yard. My ‘family’ Photo Hunt is at Sacred Ruminations today.
Hugs and blessings,
I'm glad the raccoons only passed through and didn't stay top forage in your garbage cans!!
What a sweet wedding photo!
Oh those are funny tossed in with a great memory!
That certainly is a lot of raccoons!!!
What a beautiful wedding photo, JMB.
What a beautiful wedding photo. Nice to see your lovely Westie.
The raccoon family look cute...have never seen any in real life.
Have a great weekend.
I love the pictures of your raccoon family and your real family! I didn't know about Cleo and your avatar until today! My "sammawow" is after my former cat Samantha.
The raccoons are too cute. Sorry for the ignorance but they don't bite, right?
BTW, your place must be something like a refuge to them, hence they stay there for a moment or so.
Admittedly I'm not always the brightest trick in the book, but the racoon wedding connection. I'm lost.
What a beautiful daughter, she takes after her mum. And we certainly don't have racoon families here in the UK.
I love those little raccoon guys, so cute. Lovely pics.
