Saturday Photo Hunt ---- Scary

SCARY

Last year, in my post for Halloween, I wrote about a house not far from me which is decorated in the most amazing manner for the season. It is the epitome of SCARY. This week I went to the current display and while not as scary on the whole as last year's model, it is still quite scary. In fact three children who were visiting on their own asked my friend and I if we would walk through with them. So we did and they were very apprehensive the whole way. What do you think? Scary enough for you? Click to get an even larger scarier view.

Another very scary fellow

Scenes like this are in the front, back and side yards of this amazing house

Now who would have thought that pumpkins could be scary? Well this lot certainly are!

More photos from this display will appear here during the week closer to Halloween. Incidentally the hosts of the display ask you to consider making a donation to three charities they support and last year they raised $20,000.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE
AND A HAPPY HALLOWEEN

That's scary! I wouldn't fancy that myself.

Mine will be up at midnight Irish time.

They really go all out and that's fantastic they raise so much money for charities that way. Very scary and creative.

Wow! these people go all out for Halloween! We have people around here who decorate almost as much as for Christmas with pumpkins, ghosts, and big blow-up things!

Um, I think it would give me nightmares. :)

Have a great weekend. :)

I stop at the first picture. I AM that SCARED. I don't want to encounter this on a dark alley.

Happy weekend.

Wow, that is super scary to me. I don't do Halloween. I don't like anything that is even a little bit scary. I don't even acknowledge the holiday in any way. I try to make up to my grand kids at other holidays but I just can't do this one.

I've never known any display for Halloween but, regardless, this one is incredble.

Hi, jmb: oooo. I clicked on the first image to enlarge it--and you are right--it is truly scary! Now, I'll probably have nightmares tonight! D

Gosh wonder if that actually gives little kids nightmares...it's certainly very creative.

Goodness me, some people really go to great lengths to decorate for Halloween!!! :O

My goodness some people really go all out. I don't get involved with Halloween there are no children knocking on my door out here anyway, but the village does put on a firework display which I might go to this year. Other years I have had to hold Annie the dog's paw while it was going on.

Creepy house! I hope they would be able to raise more money than they raised last year :)

Have a great weekend JMB. Some places here in Manila have their trick or treat today (too early, ha ha) :)

Oh my gosh...I'm lovin' this week's theme. Halloween is just so much fun for the imagination.

Mine's posted too, if you can find time to stop by. Happy weekend.

What a good post for scary. It must take them ages to make all those displays.

Oh God, Halloween...

Remind me NOT to stay in...

I always feel this trick or treat thing is a bit unfair. They missed out the 'clip round the ear for being an impertinent brat' option.

I love halloween! What a great display they have. Would love to go through that too.
Am trying to get back into the groove of things, been so busy these past few months.
Took a trip up to Michigan to see Becci-PowersTwinB, a couple other sisters and my sick brother. His health has been failing slowly and Becci spends a lot of time with him. (He has pancreatic cancer).
Hope all is well with you. Have a great week.

Nice one, though I don't feel scary. But it is enough to scare childrens away :)

I remember I have posted some pics on the Haunted Hospital in Japan in my blog, I think this one is scarier: http://henricklim.blogspot.com/2008/08/ghost-house-in-japan.html
