Vancouver is a city surrounded by water and there are eleven major traffic bridges in the nearby area. With my walking group today I passed three of them, all spanning False Creek.

So... is the False Creek really a false creek? If so, how so? Also, I've only been to Vancouver just once -- back in 1990. But is my memory serving me right when I say that there's a microbrewery somewhere near the Granville Street (or island?) area?

Looked like a beautiful day to walk. All great photos. I really like the second one best, how the buildings reflect in the water.
To pass three bridges in a single walk in Perth, the walk would need to be three days long :) Thoise are great shots.

Wow! Eleven traffic bridges? That's a lot. I love the scenery of the whole place. It made me feel that I should take a vacation there soon... if someone would take care of the cats. :P haha.

My husband picked me up by boat once in Vancouver. We spent the night anchored in False Creek. It was lots of fun using the dingy to get to great markets and restaurants. I invite you to come see my Canadian hiking bridges. - Margy

London Bridges is a children's game. Two people hold hands in the air making a arch while a line of kids goes under and everyone sings the song "London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, my fair lady." When you get to "my fair lady" the arms come down and trap whoever was going under.
