GARBAGE
This was an ugly sight I saw on our walking group outing yesterday. Click to enlarge.
This view of a little scenic pond, marred by someone carelessly leaving their garbage on the grass. Actually there is no excuse for it whatsoever, since there are garbage cans all along the path.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE

That does rather spoil the view, you will have to do a photoshopped version :-)
Just one moment of sheer ignorance by someone ruins a delightful sight.
Awful how lazy some people are eh?! We have the same problems here in Toronto. Some people are just yucky!
Thanks for stopping by my garbage entry :)
That is so annoying, especially since they have trash cans. Looks like a beautiful park. Too bad people are so thoughtless sometimes. Happy weekend.
Some people are just inconsiderate. Happy weekend.
Oh that's one that gets me going! No bloody excuse for that. Mercy you should see parts of Everest; PACK OUT YOUR TRASH applies at any altitude.
I spoke to someone who was on their way to Vancouver today and I'm pea green with envy! Arghhhh. Why oh why does my conference have to be in D.C. not Vancouver? I would LOVE to visit the Smithsonian but I should be dead from the heat by the time I find it; and I'm taking Angus with me so...
I have never understood how people can be so lazy that they cannot even walk ten steps or ten feet to the nearest trash can. Thanks for showcasing this, and I hope more people realize how this stuff ruins it for everyone.
Lovely spot pity someone was so careless.
It's amazing it how some people can go out into the countryside, enjoy it and then ruin it for others? I once went hiking with a friend and three of her friends -- one who nearly gave her and me a heart attack when she pulled out a cigarette while we were halfway up a hill. (And yes, of course, we strongly impressed on her that it was not the done thing to pollute the air -- especially the beautiful country air! But the fact that we had to tell her that...!!!)
Sad indeed.
Happy weekend.
That is so distressing! Thank you for sharing your annoyance at this thoughtless behavior.
I truly don't understand those people...
Such a lovely place... Happy PH!
I've always thought littering to be the laziest of crimes. Otherwise a beautiful park.
Makes me mad. Have a nice weekend.
Truly a spoiler, still it could have been worse. Like in my example.
Have a great weekend.
Isn't that the bunk!?!!! There are always those who don't care about the environment and litter.
This week's theme will be quite interesting to see what everyone came up with for their photos. Yours, my friend, is excellent actually!!! Mine is posted, come on over to my blog, if you can...
Have a great Saturday.
Yes it really spoil the garbage to the view of that place. Happy weekend. Mine is ready too.
Mine is here hope you visit

Don't get me going. I hate it when people litter.
it's still a wonderful-looking pond tho...
ps long time no see; howzit going with you? come and see my furry KOALAS today ... if yer like ...
;->...
You can imagine what their homes look like if they so easily throw trash on a beautiful park like this.
My construction trash or garbage is up.
Could not agree more, jmb.
You wonder how some people think, don't you? As you say, it's not difficult to dispose sensibly of rubbish - even when it means carrying bags of dog poo around for half an hour!
It's the same here in Singapore. beautiful parks and public spaces are strewn with garbage. This despite hefty S$500 fine in Singapore for throwing rubbish. tsk tsk...
A very thoughtless person.
I'm honestly curious what goes through a person's mind? Do we think they're purposely wanting to sully the view, maybe as a sort of rebel mentality thing? Or that they honestly consider the possibility that there might be a garbage can nearby and decide it's too much trouble? Or that they've just gotten in the habit of throwing their trash wherever and it literally doesn't occur to them that there's anything wrong with it? All of these seem kind of hard to believe, but it must be something along one of those lines, right?
