HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE
DAILY
No light bulb flashed on for this theme, so I am stretching the theme negatively. Besides I wanted to share this photo with you! This is not a daily sight for me, although I do see bald eagles often and especially at this time of year. Yesterday, one of a pair I was watching suddenly took flight and I scrabbled to catch a not so good photo. Needless to say I had only my 4 x zoom instead of my 20x zoom camera with me!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE

That's an amazing photo! you were so quick to get your camera...I think that is a great take on the theme.....happy weekend to you!
You have a 20 x zoom camera? Wowowow! Especially since you already take great pictures with your 4 x zoom... :)
too bad you don't bring your 20 x zoom camera. But that is a lovely shot. I think you can make it zoom with photoshop cs3.
thanks for drop at my ph post
Bald eagles are a very rare sight in out neck of the woods, though I have seen a couple over the years. The most memorable was the time we were crossing a bridge over the Ottawa River and one was lofting about in the air currents, level with the top of the handrail. Stunning!
Here my mother and I spend many a summer day driving out in the country visiting all the Osprey nests in the area (we are up to 15 regular and new ones)/ With both parents and generally two young per nest, that's a lot of Ospreys!

What a wonderful sight, whether daily or not, and then to have caught it on camera! My reactions are usually far too slow for birds.

I love this shot. You did a great job capturing the eagle in flight. Happy weekend.
You had to be quick with that one.
Great shot!
What a wonderful capture, no wonder you wanted to share that one with us :-)
I hope you have a great weekend.
Now, that's a way to shoot an eagle. Chapeau, Mylady.
And as I see once again A lonely voice 'linking' ten times. Does this homo insapiens pay monthly compensation for intellectual damage?
Fabulous shot, jmb.
Fabulous pic...such majestic birds!
ha ha it still is a lovely photo
I don't get to see this bird daily. In fact none at all in tropical Singapore. :)
Your pics are always so impressive, I hope you had a great weekend.
Gorgeous creatures. We are so lucky to see them regularly. I once had a visitor from Ontario in my car when she suddenly screamed for me to stop. I thought she was going to throw up or something, but no, she had seen a bald eagle and wanted to get out and look. But I would likely do the same if I was in her car in Ontario and saw a cardinal.
