SPIRAL
It is a the most wonderful piece of stone, with lovely markings and when I saw it in a local gallery about ten years ago I did not hesitate for a moment, despite its hefty price and I walked out with it under my arm so to speak.HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE

It certainly is a superb piece of art. Great take on the theme!
That's a fantastic sculpture JMB. I'm glad you were able to purchase it to enjoy at home. Happy Weekend, Carver
What a beautiful piece! I love it.
Now that is a very interesting, intriguing piece - a feast for one's imagination!

Lovely.
treasured indeed. it's beautiful piece of art work jmb.
happy weekend! :)
Agree that that's a beautiful piece of sculpture, jmb. From the photo though, it looks quite a bit taller than 15 inches! Maybe it's the angle from where the photo was taken...
It's a lovely piece but I don't see the swans. haha....
Isn't it heavy to carry it all the way home from the gallery?
WOW! Spirals as abstract circles within circles. Wonderful choice
It is a wonderful piece of art :)

happy weekend!
That is beautiful, jmb. It's good when you can go right in and buy something you like before you start to think.
Wow! I love all the fine curves. Beautiful! :)

An elegant piece of art.
here's my entry
What an interesting piece. I can see why you fell in love.
Great looking piece. I do occasionally see things along these lines I'd love to purchase, but always end up concluding that wouldn't know what to do with it once I'd got it home. So too with nice books, since there isn't any space on what passes for my coffee table, or bookshelf for that matter. (Hello JMB, btw, you know me better as the Umpire ...)
That is an incredible piece...I can see why your treasure it...and wonderful for the theme....
Happy Weekend to you!
It's beautiful, jmb.
I have never heard of Brazilian soapstone, but it is so warm and has great depth. The sculpture is gorgeous.
