That's a beautiful shot JMB and that is interesting how the driftwood is lined up. I thought about open waters too and almost posted a shot from the beach but while I was looking for my coastal shots I kept noticing open doors. I hope you have a great weekend.

That would be a lot of chopping to make firewood. Beautiful spot when I saw it on a warm fall evening many years ago.

That's a lovely place. It looks like a perfect day to spend time outdoors. I'm sure those logs are very useful for beach goers.
Same thought for a different shot Have you been out there? I have been in harbors and gulfs but never open water of the ocean it seems like it would be scary and endless but your picture is inviting.
Vancouver is such a beautiful harbor and city. And what a great beach to watch the activity.

That sky is absolutely amazing, and I like the intensity of the blue :-)
That beach wood is a great idea, especially for someone such as me who has trouble walking and standing.
Some logs are so huge one wonders how they get there - truly at times we underestimate the power of the sea. A lovely shot JMB.
