Saturday Photo Hunt --- Colourful

COLOURFUL

It seems like Colourful as a theme has become an almost annual event for Photo Hunters! This is my third time doing it for Photo Hunt. Yes, as far as I am concerned it is spelled Colourful with a U!

2007 saw a photo taken in my garden, 2008 a colourful quilt in an exhibition and for 2010, a colourful garden display at a local golf course where I had lunch recently. No, I didn't play golf that day!

I think yellow flowers are very colourful and a great favourite with me

Oddly enough, the bee seems to prefer the white one here

At first I thought this unusually coloured flower was
Chocolate Cosmos but now I am not so sure

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE

Even though I don't spell it that way, I do think it looks better with that "u" in there.

Very nice photo. I like the chocolate coloured flowers, whatever they are.

These are all wonderful shots of the colorful flowers. They make me smile to look at them. I'm so hopeless I never remember when photohunt themes are repeated. Happy weekend.

Hi jmb --

"Yes, as far as I am concerned it is spelled Colourful with a U!"

Is that on account of your Antipodean background or does Canada actually follow the Brits too? ;b

(And yes, I'm baaack!)

Love those colourful blooms@! I wish I could grown them in my own garden =) Chocolate-coloured flowers are new to my eyes... I wonder what they are called?

Enjoy your weekend, Jim.

I used to associate colorful flowers with summer. However, since moving to Oz, I now associate colourful flowers with the rains of winter.

You don't get more colourful than that. I expect you are away taking lots of photos right now, and I look forward to seeing them when you return.
