No light bulb flashed on for this theme, so I am stretching the theme negatively. Besides I wanted to share this photo with you! This is not a daily sight for me, although I do see bald eagles often and especially at this time of year. Yesterday, one of a pair I was watching suddenly took flight and I scrabbled to catch a not so good photo. Needless to say I had only my 4 x zoom instead of my 20x zoom camera with me!

Koalas look so cuddly don't they? Of course they are not really bears but marsupials and these consumers of eucalyptus leaves actually spend about 18 hours a day sleeping. They are not really cuddly and can become quite stressed by handling and at times even nasty. They have very sharp claws for climbing trees and will scratch and bite when angry. So maybe you should not try to cuddle one but they are pretty cute for all that.

Saturday Photo Hunt --- Broken

BROKEN

This Kundo Mantel clock under glass dome I have shown before in Photo Hunt, with Time as the theme. Then it was working, but now it is broken I am sad to say. Nothing we do makes it run for more than ten minutes so we have finally given up. But not discarded it, just in case!

It really is neat as you can see all the movement in action, that is when it is not broken! It is one for the first early clocks with a transistorized switch and dates from around 1960 which you can probably tell.
