This dusty path near us is a favourite walk along the edge of the Fraser River. We share the walk with dogs and horses and when it rains it becomes rather muddy and we have to walk elsewhere.

That's a beautiful photo. And an enormously wide river. Most British rivers are really narrow, because we're such a tiny isle...
Dirt trails can be nice to walk in when dry. That looks like a nice place to stroll and take in good views, jmb. :)
